Terms of Use
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These terms govern your use of MockRoom, published at mockroom.dev and its per-exam subdomains. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What MockRoom is
MockRoom provides independently written practice questions, drills, reference material, and spaced review tools to help you prepare for cloud certification exams. It is a study aid. It is not a certification body, a training provider accredited by any vendor, or a substitute for the official exam guide and documentation.
2. No affiliation with AWS or Amazon
MockRoom is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Amazon Web Services, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
AWS, Amazon Web Services, the AWS logo, and the names of AWS certifications and their exam codes are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. They are used on this site only to identify the exams that our study material covers, which is a descriptive, nominative use. No claim of ownership is made over them, and no sponsorship or endorsement is implied.
All other trademarks referenced remain the property of their respective owners.
3. Practice questions are not exam questions
Every question on MockRoom is written independently, based on publicly available exam guides, official documentation, and general knowledge of the subject area. MockRoom does not reproduce, republish, or seek live examination content, and does not knowingly publish material obtained in breach of any exam confidentiality agreement.
If you believe any content here infringes a copyright or breaches an exam agreement, contact info@mockroom.dev and we will review it promptly.
4. No guarantee of exam results
Practice material can improve your preparation. It cannot promise an outcome. We make no representation or warranty that using MockRoom will result in passing any examination, achieving any particular score, or obtaining any certification. Exam content, scoring, and requirements are set by the certification body and can change at any time without notice to us.
5. Accuracy of content
We work to keep study material correct and current, including reviewing questions against cited sources. Even so, content may contain errors, may become outdated as cloud services change, and should not be relied on as authoritative. Always verify against the official documentation and exam guide, which we link to throughout. Reports of errors are welcome at info@mockroom.dev.
6. Your study data is your responsibility
MockRoom stores your practice attempts, review progress, and preferences in your browser's local storage. We hold no copy. This means:
- clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing device or browser will lose your progress;
- we cannot recover lost progress for you under any circumstances;
- keeping backups, using the built-in export function, is entirely up to you.
See the privacy policy for detail on what is stored.
7. Acceptable use
You may use MockRoom for your own personal exam preparation, free of charge. You may not:
- scrape, bulk-download, republish, resell, or redistribute the question catalogue or reference material;
- present MockRoom content as your own or as official certification material;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
- use the site in any way that breaks applicable law or a certification body's own terms, including its exam confidentiality rules.
8. Intellectual property
The questions, explanations, reference material, design, and code of MockRoom are owned by Studio Tansy and protected by copyright, except for third-party trademarks and any material identified as belonging to someone else. Personal study use is permitted. Any other reproduction or distribution requires written permission.
9. Availability
MockRoom is provided free of charge and on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including individual exam rooms, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MockRoom is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Tansy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, loss of study progress, exam failure, lost opportunity, or lost profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of MockRoom, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use MockRoom after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Studio Tansy is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
